Delivery  Policy

[Starting Early 2026] Somm Cellars offers local delivery within the Bay Area on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with San Jose and East Bay deliveries scheduled for Saturdays only (included zip codes listed below).

We offer free local delivery(STARTING EARLY 2026) on orders of $150 or more (a $20 delivery fee applies for orders below the minimum) to the following Zip Codes:

Shipping Policy

For shipments throughout the US we are happy to coordinate shipping on your behalf and do not profit from any shipping arrangements we make for you.

Shipment is available by ground or air Monday through Friday.

All products marked as “In-Transit” are currently en route and expected to arrive soon. Unless otherwise stated in the description, the estimated time of arrival (ETA) is approximately 2–3 weeks.

All products marked as “Pre-Arrival” have a longer ETA than “In-Transit” items, and the specific ETA will be indicated in the product description.

All products marked as “Warehouse” are currently in our temperature-controlled storage facility and available on demand. Once an order is confirmed, the item will be dispatched, with an average ETA of 2–3 weeks.

Spirits cannot be shipped outside of California under any circumstances. All spirits orders must be delivered to an address within our delivery range or picked up in-store. If an order is placed with a shipping address outside of California State, we will be unable to fulfill the order, and it may be subject to cancellation.

Return Policy

Somm Cellars is able to extend the following terms for returns or replacements up to one year after the purchase of a given product:

All corked wines can be returned within 48 hours for replacement or store credit.

Prematurely oxidized white wines not older than 10 years can be returned within 48 hours for the replacement of the same item or returned for store credit.  We are unable to accept returns for oxidized wines older than 10 years.  

We are unable to accept returns on wines older than 20 years. However, we welcome your feedback regarding any issues you’ve experienced, and we’re happy to assist—please feel free to contact us at orders@sommcellarswine.com.

We are unable to accept the return of any unopened wines, spirits, and glassware.

Cancellation Policy 

Canceled orders may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Any orders abandoned beyond two years without providing delivery or shipping instructions will be cancelled. 50% of the original order value will be refunded.

Event & Seminar Policy

All events and seminars that require a reservation by purchasing a ticket are non-refundable and can only be transferred to another person.
